North Star Foot & Ankle Associates

Warmer weather is coming and soon it will be time to break out the sandals, open-toed shoes, and flip-flops! Are your feet ready? If you’re reluctant to expose your feet due to their appearance, or if foot and ankle pain or injuries are affecting your quality of life, North Star Foot & Ankle Associates is here to help.

Offering medical and surgical solutions for everything from simple conditions of the foot and ankle to the most complex, board-certified podiatrist Dr. R. Jeffrey Doyle and his team—which includes a new physician associate, Dr. H. Aden Huynh—will help your feet look and feel their best.

“We’re growing with the community and have expanded our team to meet the increasing demand for our services,” says Dr. Doyle. “Dr. Aden Huynh joined the practice last September and we’re thrilled to have him with us. He is a talented podiatrist and a great asset to our team.”

Patients Pam and William Agree—Your Feet Will Be in the Best of Hands

Dr. Doyle, Dr. Huynh, and the friendly North Star Foot & Ankle staff serve patients of all ages. They combine the latest innovations and techniques with some good old-fashioned personalized care, which makes them a rare find today.

Pam, a nurse, was referred to Dr. Doyle by a friend after trying three or four other podiatrists. She’s so happy with Dr. Doyle she drives a distance to see him now that she has moved, and has referred her mother to him.

“The staff is wonderful, and Dr. Doyle is exceptional,” Pam says. “He’s personable, attentive, listens, and explains what he’s doing and why he recommends it. He truly takes your best interests to heart, too. He doesn’t just push surgery, he offers options. I also love how upbeat his office atmosphere is. Everyone is happy and there’s plenty of cheerful humor. It makes going to see them a pleasure!”

William was referred to Dr. Doyle by his primary care physician and had heard good things about him from several friends who see Dr. Doyle.

“My son is a doctor and I appreciate Dr. Doyle’s thoroughness, as well as his professional yet friendly demeanor. He’s informative and has a great attitude with his patients. I really enjoy his staff, too. I would rate Dr. Doyle six stars on a five-star scale if I could. I can tell you there are some physicians, like Dr. Doyle, who take their time with you and help you feel comfortable, and many who don’t. Dr. Doyle is one of the great ones!”

Comprehensive Services, Advanced Technology

From hammertoes and bunions to ingrown toenails, neuromas, corns, calluses, foot and ankle fractures, and much more, North Star Foot & Ankle Associates provides comprehensive care that helps control, prevent, and cure foot and ankle disorders. Serving everyone from children and athletes to busy parents and seniors in an office with a welcoming atmosphere, the talented, friendly team loves to meet new patients and greet familiar faces.

“We see many patients routinely for nail care and calluses, and perform annual circulation studies using advanced technology on a variety of patients, including our diabetic patients,” Dr. Doyle says. “We regularly treat children for flat feet, warts, and ingrown toenails. Ingrown toenails are usually easy to treat, and patients can experience immediate relief. Spa pedicurists can actually get you in worse shape trying to attend to an ingrown toenail. Come see us instead.”

Athletes are another set of patients that rely on Drs. Doyle and Huynh for top-notch podiatric care. “Coaches know that we take same day appointments and help get athletes back on the field as quickly as possible,” Dr. Doyle adds. Heel pain (plantar fasciitis) is also a common problem, especially among athletes, weekend warriors, and those who are on their feet a lot.

“We use a non-invasive technology called EPAT (extracorpeal pulse activation treatment) to treat conditions like plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendonitis. EPAT increases the rate of soft tissue healing by using a unique set of acoustic pressure waves to stimulate blood circulation. Damaged tissue gradually regenerates and eventually heals.”
