Meet the Doctors
Dr. T.J. Benson
Dr. Todd “TJ” Benson graduated from UT Medical Branch and completed his pediatric residency at UTSW/Children’s in Dallas. Dr. Benson lives in Rockwall with his lovely wife and twin daughters. He enjoys traveling, playing sports, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Dr. Casey Drake
Dr. Drake graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at UTSW Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Drake has enjoyed helping with the interior design of the practice and always enjoys cheering on the Cornhuskers and Cowboys with her husband and daughter.
Dr. Nicole Laird
Dr. Laird graduated from UT Medical Branch and completed her pediatric residency at UTSW Medical Center in Dallas. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, craft projects, yoga, staying active, and supporting the Baylor Bears.
Dr. Rae Luan
Dr. Luan graduated from UTSW Medical School and completed her pediatric residency at UTSW Medical Center as well. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, staying active, and traveling to new places.
Dr. Grace Pecson
Dr. Pecson graduated from Texas A&M Health Sciences Center College of Medicine and completed her residency training at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Pecson and her husband have three children. She enjoys relaxing at home, good food, good company, and time with family.
Dr. Rachel Ternan
Dr. Ternan graduated from Baylor College of Medicine and completed her residency at UTSW Medical Center. She enjoys spending her time with her husband, daughter, and their two dogs, hiking, and photography.
Dr. Nadine Wakim
Dr. Wakim graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at UTSW Medical Center in Dallas. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, learning about cultures and places, cooking, running, and being outdoors.
Dr. Virenda Wood
Dr. Wood graduated from the University of Tennessee at Memphis College of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at UTSW Medical Center in Dallas. She enjoys scrapbooking and spending time with her family.
Dr. Velouette Zavadil
Dr. Zavadil graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at UTSW Medical Center. She enjoys travel, concerts, cooking, and biking by the lake with her husband and children.
