Their most recent charitable trips were with the Christian Dental Society to Guatemala and to Tarawa, Kirabati, located in the central Pacific Ocean. Dr. Huet and her team also realize that dental visits can be frightening and stressful experiences for some, and that’s why they offer several different forms of sedation dentistry so patients can feel at ease during any procedure. The well-being of the patient is always of the utmost importance to them. Dr. Huet graduated from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston in 1993. She then served 13 years in the U.S. Army Reserve as a dentist, dental assistant, and lab technician. She has studied at the acclaimed Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education and has been granted a Fellowship with the International College of Dentists, a Fellowship and Mastership at the Academy of General Dentists, and a Fellowship with the International College of Dentists and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Training and expertise are at the forefront of Dr. Huet’s dedication to her patients. Her practice is constantly striving to advance in education as well as the latest technology and treatments that are available. While the state only requires 12 hours of advanced training annually, Dr. Huet acquires an average of 100 to 200 hours a year, solidifying her commitment to constant improvement and progression in the field of dentistry.
