Digestive Health Associates of Texas

The board certified gastroenterologists at Digestive Health Associates of Texas (DHAT)— Dr. Eric Hill, Dr. Bryan Ong, and Dr. Mark Murray—understand people may feel embarrassed talking about digestive problems, even with a physician. They go the extra mile to help patients feel at ease discussing their symptoms and concerns and encourage questions. Even the office décor, which is warm, modern, and appealing, helps patients feel comfortable and relaxed.

“We strive to put ourselves in our patients’ shoes,” said Dr. Murray. “We don’t rush through appointments and value developing a meaningful doctor-patient relationship. Patients often share their life stories and talk about their children with us—we form a lasting bond.”

While the doctors take pride in providing individualized, compassionate care, don’t let their easy-going demeanor fool you. They are at the top of their game. Up-to-date on the latest innovations, they offer a full range of services, treating and diagnosing conditions that affect the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, colon, and the biliary system (liver, pancreas, gallbladder, bile ducts). Their services include preventive care, from detecting and treating precancerous Barrett’s esophagus to screening colonoscopies, including direct or “open” colonoscopy screening that allows you to skip the pre-procedure office visit if you are a good candidate.
