Dr. Koetter has worked in the dental field since she was 15 and has owned her Rockwall practice for 10 years. As a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, she provides the best dental care for a healthy mouth along with world-class cosmetic care for a beautiful smile. Whether she is discussing root canal therapy with a patient or performing a routine evaluation, there’s nothing else she’d rather be doing.
“I get excited to go to work every day. Dentistry is what makes me tick—it’s my passion,” she says. “I’ve been blessed to work with wonderful people. Patients can see that we have fun and enjoy what we do, and that puts everyone at ease.”
When patients are called back for an appointment, they can immediately settle in and relax. Each room is equipped with massage chairs and TVs, providing a comfortable setting, just as if they were at home.
Dr. Koetter finds joy in treating her patients like friends and family.
“Many of my patients are neighbors, and I want to take good care of them,” she says. “We want them to feel like they’re part of our family. The treatment plan we recommend for them is the same we would recommend for our mother or our brother.”
Dr. Koetter says her goal is always to do as little work as possible so it’s the least invasive for the patient. However, the practice is equipped for any dental treatment. The team offers the latest technology in root canal therapy, cosmetic fillings, porcelain crowns, flexible partial dentures, conscious sedation, and nitrous oxide. Plus, the staff is trained in the latest comfort techniques.
Dr. Koetter is proud to use the latest in digital X-ray technology, which allows the team to use smaller sensors in the mouth during X-rays. The practice also uses state-of-the-art CariVu dental imaging technology, allowing practitioners to look in between teeth without needing to do an X-ray.
Outside of the office, Dr. Koetter enjoys spending time with her family at the lake. She also serves on the board for two local charity leagues. But come Monday morning, Dr. Koetter is happy to be back doing what she loves—providing patients with a kind and compassionate dental experience.
